Role Of Board of Directors and Members At Large
For the Mwana Mission Project, Inc.
We, The Mwana Mission Board are a non-salaried board. We are in fact are a working board that bring all of our talents and expertise to the projects we are involved in. In fact our board members are fierce advocates of this organization— always ready to be spokespersons and to do everything they can to advance our cause privately and publicly.
They are willing to recruit others. Board members are willing to ask their friends,
acquaintances, and associates to become involved in our organization.
Several members have been to Malawi and are involved with strategic and long-range planning. We as member’s are serious and feel our prime responsibility is to focus on the long-term viability and vitality of our organization. We actively raise funds. Board members have provided their own philanthropic support to the greatest, most generous extent possible. As well, they join in helping to raise support from others.
The Board of Directors, and members at large make sure there is transparency and protects the organization’s financial integrity. Every aspect of our organization’s financial operations come under the scrutiny of the board. Members are expected to review financial reports and provide counsel that leads to sound financial management.

Executive Director Responsibilities
Providing analysis and advice to our U.S.A. Mwana Mission Project, Inc, LLC. Working with local governments, non government organizations, and private sector entities. Concentrating mainly on making a difference on the ground, in Malawi where the needs are. We help to develop partners to be more effective, including donors and global institutions for current and future projects.
